"Rap is still an art and no one's from the old school/cause rap is still a brand new tool" - Blastmaster KRS One
Last week I was on twitter and one of my peoples said something about 9th Wonder being in his top 5 producers of all time and my first reaction was "you gotta be under 30 to say something like that." So for this week's show we're chopping it up about how your age says a lot about how you see the hip hop game. So, the first question on tap is how old were you when "Illmatic" dropped in '94, why most cats 35 and under think that Nas' "It Was Written" was better then "Illmatic" and Jay's "The Blueprint" was doper then "Reasonable Doubt", why there's no way in hell 9th Wonder is a top 5 producer, what are some of the hip hop traditions that need to be passed down to the youth and most important how can the old heads & the younger generation can stop beefin' and come together to keep the culture moving forward. ANOTHER dope ep ya'll!
Also, subscribe to The Corner Radio on Stitcher Radio and in case cats don't have time to peep the whole show and wanna get straight to the convo, skip to the 25:38 mark and you're good money.
